Près du mémorial du Commando Kieffer, on trouve la statue du célèbre sonneur Bill Millin, qui atteint la Normandie en jouant de la cornemuse ! Ce soldat fut rendu célèbre par le film Le Jour le plus long. Sa cornemuse est aujourd'hui exposée au musée Mémorial Pegasus.
