Caen Regional Aero-Club

Our pilots and planes can be made available to institutions, companies and associations at a minimum cost. The principle is as follows: the aeroclub calls on several of its experienced, volunteer pilots, who each reserve a plane for private flights, as if setting off with friends. To limit the cost of these flights, we offer a 30-minute format (which will cost around €40 per person on average). This is enough time for a flight from Carpiquet to Courseulles-sur-Mer, then on towards Ouistreham, Pegasus Bridge and back. As flights are taken under the responsibility of the captains, they will only take place under favourable flight conditions. This means that the following factors must be considered: - Temperature, - Wind, - Cloud cover, - Aerial activity and notices issued to pilots for the given day. In the event that flights cannot be carried out on the established date, clients will be offered to postpone to a later date for safety reasons.
